「Start Of The Day」はバーミンガム(イギリス)のロックバンド、オーシャン・カラー・シーンが2005年に発表した楽曲です。

リアル・ピープルのカバーです。本当にいい曲ですね。この曲を収録した７枚目のアルバム『A Hyperactive Workout for the Flying Squad』は自主レーベルからのリリースだからなのか、Spotifyで聴けないのが残念です。

３枚目のアルバム『Marchin’ Already』が全英チャ－ト１位を獲得するほどの隆盛を誇ったのですが、ブリットポップの終焉とともにあまりバンドの情報が入って来なくなりました。

本当に素晴らしい楽曲なので、映画かドラマに使われてリバイバルヒットして欲しいです。
