Telephone/Lady Gaga 解説

実は「Telephone」は、もともとレディー・ガガがブリトニー・スピアーズに提供するために書いた楽曲でした。しかし最終的には採用されず、自身で歌うことを決めたそうです。その後ビヨンセを迎えて現在の形となり、大ヒットを記録しました。

MVは「Paparazzi」の続編として制作されていて、刑務所から釈放されたレディー・ガガをビヨンセが迎えに来るところから物語が始まります。約9分半にも及ぶショートフィルム仕立ての映像で、ダイナーでのダンスシーンや数々のファッションは当時かなり話題になりました。初めて見たときのインパクトはなかなか忘れられません。
