Kids/MGMT 歌詞和訳と意味

「Kids」はニューヨーク・ブルックリン出身のアンドリュー・ヴァンウィンガーデンとベン・ゴールドワッサーを中心としたバンド、MGMTが2007年に発表した楽曲です。

MGMTは以前のバンド名のManagementを略したもの。サイケデリック・ポップバンドと呼ばれてます。

「Kids」は子供に警告してるようで、環境問題の色濃いナンバーです。すべての人類に警告してます。なかなか深い。リリースから20年後の現在、猛暑などの異常気象に見舞われてます。

プロデュースはモグワイ、ベルセバ、フレーミング・リップス、ウィーザー、ナンバーガールなどを手掛けたデイヴ・フリッドマン。サウンドに独特の空間作り出します。デイヴはマーキュリー・レヴのメンバ－でもあります。

2018年にフジロック出てるんですね。コロナ過の前。記憶にないぞ。ケンドリック・ラマーの年か！
