「Patience」はロサンゼルスのロックバンド、ガンズ・アンド・ローゼズが1988年に発表した楽曲です。

美しいアコースティックナンバーで、全米４位の大ヒット曲となりました。ワイルドが売りのガンズが見せた新たな一面です。

今でも人気曲で、ライブの後半に演奏されます。私が行ったジャパンツアーは「Don’t Cry」と「Patience」のどちらかをやるセトリでした。できれば両方聴きたかった。

ガンズの歴史を振り返ると、「Patience」出来ない事件ばっかりでしたね。「Patience」が今のアクセルに追いついたのはリリースから30年後だと思います。
