Your Song/Rita Ora 解説

実は「Your Song」は、リタ・オラにとって約2年ぶりとなるソロシングルでした。2015年に当時所属していたロック・ネイションとの契約を巡って訴訟になり、2016年に和解。その後アトランティック・レコードと新たに契約して、ようやく音楽活動を本格的に再開することになります。まさにリタにとっての再スタートとなった曲ですね。

そして本曲をエド・シーランと一緒に書いているのも面白いところ。リタとエドは10代の頃から友人だったそうで、実は2015年の時点ですでにエドから「Us」という曲を提供されていました。リタはこの曲を「とてもスイートで心温まるラブソング」と絶賛していたそうです。
