「Diamonds」はバルバドス出身のリアーナの2012年にリリースされた楽曲です。全英、全米シングルチャート1位を獲得しています。リアーナは2017年までに14曲を全米シングルチャート１位に送り込んでおり、すでにザ・ビートルズ、エルヴィス・プレスリー、マライア・キャリーに続く歴代４位に君臨してます。

この曲はシーアによって書かれた楽曲であり、コーラスにも参加してます。プロデューサーのベニー・ブランコは、カニエ・ウェストのようなクールなヒップホップソングを作る予定でしたが、シーアは曲を聞くなり、たった14分で素晴らしいポップソングに仕上げたようです。

歌詞は少し危険です。美しい海で恋に落ちた二人がドラッグをキメて空に浮かぶダイアモンドのようにキラキラ輝き、エクスタシーに達する曲です。
