HandClap/Fitz and The Tantrums 解説

Handclapは、男遊びの激しい女性を口説こうとする男性の曲だと思われます。曲中に出てくる表現にはかなりセクシーなものも含まれます。作曲したfitzpatrickは下記のように語っています。

“It’s sexual, it’s about desire. It’s that late night, doing bad things and the walk of shame in the morning. But it’s also sort of embodied with this touch of melancholy, your sadness or loneliness and wanting to feel you have that connection with somebody. You go out looking for that connection and sometimes it can take you down a dark road.”
