「Irreplaceable」はビヨンセが2006年にリリースした楽曲です。アルバム『B’Day』からのシングルで、ビヨンセを代表するヒット曲のひとつです。

Irreplaceable/Beyoncé 解説

「Irreplaceable」は、スターゲイトとニーヨによって制作された楽曲です。実は最初からビヨンセ向けに作られたわけではなく、ニーヨはもともと男性目線のカントリーソングとして書いていたそうです。そこからビヨンセ側がアレンジを加え、現在のR&B寄りの形になりました。

ビヨンセはデモをかなり気に入っていたものの、最初はアルバム『B’Day』の雰囲気に合わないと思われていたそうです。ただ、プロデューサーが「この曲を入れないのはあり得ない」と強く推したことで収録が決定。結果的にアルバム最大級のヒット曲になりました。

ちなみにMVでは、ビヨンセの女性バンド「Suga Mama」が初登場しています。またスペイン語版の「Irreemplazable」も制作されていて、ラテン圏でもかなり人気が高かったようです。
