Part of the Queue/Oasis 解説

「Part of the Queue」はイギリスのロックバンド、Oasis(オアシス)の6作目のアルバム『Don’t Believe the Truth』に収録されている曲です。

アルバムの中でも後半に入っており、シングルカットもされていないのであまり目立っていません。しかし、刺さる人には刺さる隠れた名曲だと個人的には思っています。作詞したノエル自身も、オアシスの中で最も過小評価されている楽曲だと語っていますね。

タイトルの由来は、ノエルがスーパーマーケットで列(=Queue)に並んでいる時に思いついたもの。たった一つのアイデアでここまでの楽曲を作れるところに、ノエルの才能を感じます。
