「When I Come Around」はカリフォルニア州バークレー(アメリカ)のロックバンド、グリーン・デイが1994年に発表した楽曲です。

衝撃のデビューアルバム『Dookie』
グリーン・デイのデビューはよく覚えてますね。大学１年生でした。当時ロンドンパンクにハマってたので、すぐに刺さらなかった。『American Idiot』の素晴らしさに気づくのも遅かった。

改めて「When I Come Around」を和訳してみると、彼女に対する優しさに溢れてます。若気の至りは何処にもない。分かりやすい。いい歌詞ですね。
