もともとの仮タイトルは「Gypsy Girl」だったと言われている本楽曲。「Dancing Queen」直後のシングルとしてリリースされたので、かなり実験的というか…無謀なチャレンジだなと思います。

それでもこれほどの大ヒットにつながったのはアバの実力の高さと、曲のキャッチーさの影響ですね。アバの楽曲ってなんでこんなに耳に残るんでしょう。

MVは映画『Cabaret』に影響を受けたスタイルで、1920年代風の衣装が目につきます。歌詞のテーマと少し合わせたのかもしれないですね。
