フューチャーベース系の楽曲なんですが、ただ派手なだけじゃなくて、メロディの切なさと浮遊感がかなり心地いいです。グリフィンらしいギター感と、イレニアムのエモーショナルなサウンドの相性もいい。

Feel Good/Gryffin, Illenium ft. Daya 解説

「Feel Good」は、グリフィンとイレニアムが2016年のツアー中に出会ったことがきっかけで制作された楽曲です。最初に二人で作ったアイデアは完成版では使われず、のちにイレニアムの「Free Fall」に流用されたそうです。

その後グリフィンが数週間かけて楽曲をブラッシュアップし、デイヤを招いて現在の形になりました。しかもデイヤは高熱を出している状態で再レコーディングしたらしく、このボーカルを録り切ったの普通に凄すぎる…。

ちなみにグリフィンはクラシックピアノやギター経験を活かして、“電子音楽だけどオーガニックな質感”をかなり大事にしているアーティストです。本曲でもシンセだけじゃなくギターの質感がかなり効いていて、そこが他のEDM系ラブソングとは少し違う魅力になっている気がします。
