Champagne Supernova/Oasis 解説

まるでThe Beatlesの「A Day In the Life」のような壮大さを感じさせる楽曲ですよね。後半のノエルのギターソロが、楽曲の展開を一気に変えている気がします。また、ギターコーラスにはThe JamやThe Style Councilのポール・ウェラーがゲストで参加しているようですね。

余談ですが、この曲にちなんで「Champagne Supernova」と名付けられた超新星があるそうです。なんでもトロント大学の研究者が2003年に、ハワイの観測所で発見したらしいですよ。
