“Jam “は、マイケル・ジャクソン8枚目のアルバム『Dangerous』からの4枚目のシングルとしてリリースされ、オープニングトラックとなっています。

この曲のミュージックビデオには、NBAバスケットボール界の伝説マイケル・ジョーダンが出演（ダブルMJ）。この曲は、シカゴ・ブルズ（ジョーダンが当時所属していたチーム）の1992年NBAチャンピオンシップのビデオ「Untouchabulls」でもフィーチャーされ、同シーズンのNBAの多くのプロモーション広告にも使用されました。
