「Level of Concern」はアメリカのデュオ、トゥエンティ・ワン・パイロッツが2020年にリリースした楽曲です。新型コロナウイルスによるパンデミックの真っただ中に発表されたシングルとしても知られています。

Level of Concern/twenty one pilots 解説

「Level of Concern」は2020年のロックダウン期間中、メンバーのタイラー・ジョセフが自宅隔離生活を送りながら制作した楽曲です。トゥエンティ・ワン・パイロッツとしては『Trench』以来となる新曲で、パンデミックによる不安や混乱をテーマにしながらも、希望を与える曲として書かれました。また収益の一部は、ライブ業界のスタッフを支援する慈善基金「Crew Nation」に寄付されています。

制作はタイラーと、以前から『Trench』でもタッグを組んでいたポール・ミーニーが担当しました。実はタイラーの母親から「今みたいな状況だからこそ踊れる曲が欲しい」と言われたことも制作のきっかけになったそうです。

ちなみにMVにはタイラーの妻ジェナや娘ロージー、ジョシュ・ダンの妻である女優のデビー・ライアンも出演しています。さらに本曲を使った大規模なARG（代替現実ゲーム）企画も行われ、謎解きをクリアした一部のファンには実際のUSBドライブが配布されました。トゥエンティ・ワン・パイロッツらしい遊び心全開のプロモーションでしたね。
